Dauntless
values: courage
appearance: tattoos, piercings, black clothing
what they do: provides us with protection from threats both within and without, they guard the fence surrounding the city
the existence of elderly Dauntless is questionable--where do they go when that can't jump off moving trains anymore?

We believe that preparation eradicates cowardice, which we define as the failure to act in the midst of fear.

Dauntless initiation works instill bravery in the midst of fear in three stages:
1. Physical
2. Emotional
3. Mental

I feel like I am looking at two different kinds of Dauntless--the honorable kind, and the ruthless kind.
